Sydney Charles visit British Gliding Team VIP Day
Vroni O’Brien and Julie Dorey from our Aviation Services office in Alton were delighted to be guests of the British Gliding Team at their second VIP Day held at Lasham Gliding Society at the end of September. The event was a great success and the Team hopes to run more in the future.
The weather was fine and sunny, and during the day, Vroni and Julie enjoyed a flight with British Gliding Association Vice-Chairman and Regional Examiner, Andy Perkins. Andy took them over the Hampshire coastline and we understand they also flew over the Alton office - we are sure everyone was hard at work! Vroni and Julie are pictured here pre-flight.
As sponsors of the British Junior Gliding Team, we are always happy to provide support where we can, and recently donated branded hi-viz jackets to be worn at events such as this; also pictured are some of the guests wearing them!
